Chapter 5 : What is God?
God & Goddess are equal. One cannot exist without the other. The God is the polarity of the Goddess, they bring balance to each other. The God can be seen in many forms, he can also be seen as one God being made up of many Gods in polytheism. The God is associated with the sun.
* Cernuous ~ One of many horned Gods, he is the hunter & the hunted, being both man and deer. He is sacrificed at the beginning of the hunting season. This is why the god dies near the autumn equinox or August 1st.
~ The Triple God ~
Young God ~ The God is young, he is the horned God and the young hunter. He is the spirit of freedom and associated with joy and sexuality.
Examples: Pan, Corneous, & Herme.
Father God ~ The God is married, responsible and protecting.
Examples: Osiris, The green man, Oak king, Zeus, & Thor.
The Sage ~ Associated with Wisdom. Male equivalent of Crone.
Examples : Odin, Thoth, & The holly king.
Like the Goddess, the God waxes & wanes as the sun does throughout the year.
* The Green Man ~ Known as the hidden one. Lord of the forest, master of vegetation, trees and plants. He is in harmony with nature. He is also associated with rain making.
~ Gods Of Different Pantheons ~
Ares ~ Greek God of War, Often known as a agent of justice.
Jupiter ~ Roman ruler of heaven & earth, Father of Gods, God of sky & thunder. His symbol is a lighting bolt and sacred animal is an eagle.
Loki ~ Norse Trickster God. Solitary position among the Gods. Lacks concern of well-beings of the other Gods.
Osiris ~ Egyptian underworld God, The God of transition, resurrection, and regeneration. Wearing a distinctive crown with ostrich feathers & symbolic crook & flail.
Lugh ~ Celtic craft God. Known for his skills as a crafts man and still considered a warrior to the celts like the roman God, Mars.
My Patron Goddess ~ Aphrodite~
~ Aphrodite ~
Aphrodite is the Ancient Greek Goddess of Love, Beauty, Sexual ecstasy, Consuming passion, Fertility, Marriage bed, Desire, & Vengeance.
Aphrodite rose from the sea foam near Paphos. She is the child of Zeus & Dione. Plato decided she was two goddesses Urania, Daughter of Uranus, goddess of pure love and Pandemos, Daughter of Zeus goddess of common love.
Aphrodite was described as a tall voluptuous, flawless & fair skinned maiden with strawberry blonde hair. She would wear dresses made of fresh flowers such as roses also she would wear gold jewelry to emphasize feminine beauty.
Sacred Plants ~ Red rose, Anemone, Apple, Daffodil, Myrtle, Myrrh, Lettuce, Pomegranate.
Sacred Animals ~ Hare (rabbit), Wolf, Turtle, Bear, & Bee.
Sacred Birds ~ Turtle Dove, Sparrow, & Goose.
Favored People ~ Ares & Adonis, Lovers, Practitioners of Sacred Sex and Sex Magick. She is matron of Sailors and Mariners.
Sacred Time ~ The Summer Solstice ; many would decorate small toy boats with flower garland and the send them to sea petitioning for Aphrodite.
Attributes ~ Scallop & cowrie shells, Sea anemone, and Fishing net.
Colors ~ Yellow, Gold, Copper, Black.
Element ~ Water
Number ~ 6
Planet ~ Venus
Shrines & Altars ~ They must be beautifully decorated with ocean motifs, flowers, and representation of her attributes and sacred things. Create a garden for her.
Offerings ~ Call Aphrodite with frankincense and myrrh. Other offerings include perfume, roses , myrtle, honey , and wine.

Chapter 4 : What Is Goddess?
Christian and other Abrahamic faiths have been trying to make goddess nonexistent for centuries. Our society is a patriarchy. The Goddess can be seen as a single being or as a polytheistic way as in many separate goddess. You can see her as many faces but all one being. You can also see her as the thought form. Being energy created by the thoughts of many people over time, or as an archetype.
Goddess is typically associated with the moon.
The Triple Goddess
The triple Goddess is either one goddess made of three goddesses , or three separate goddesses. The concept has roots in Celtic & Greek pantheon.
First Crescent (Left) ~ The Maiden Goddess ~
She is youth, inspiration, new beginnings, growth, and optimism. Any goddesses with these attributes is considered a maiden goddess. Her color is white.
Examples of the Maiden: Hathor , Egyptian goddess of love, music, and sex.
Athena , Greek goddess of War and Wisdom.
Diana , Roman goddess of the Moon
Artemis , Greek goddess or The Moon and Hunt.
Hestia , Greek goddess of Hearth and Home.
The Middle Moon ~ Mother Goddess~
She represents fertility, protectiveness, motherhood, home, and sexuality. Her color is Red.
Examples Of the Mother Goddess : Isis , Egyptian goddess of magick.
Demeter , Greek Goddess of the Harvest.
Gaia , Greek goddess & titan of the earth.
Hera , Greek goddess of marriage and childbirth.
Frigg , Norse goddess of Marriage , Physical love, and Children.
Third Crescent ( Right) ~ Crone Goddess~
She represents wisdom, endings, prophecy, sorrow, and death. Her color is Black.
Examples of the Crone Goddess : Sekhmet , Egyptian goddess of War and Fire
Hel , Norse Goddess of Death.
Cerridwen , Celtic goddess of Wisdom.
The cycle Maiden , Mother , and Crone plays out not only in the lives of women , but every month in the waxing and waning of the moon. Which is sacred to the Goddess.
